The City of Weyburn hosts many events of provincial and national significance throughout the year at the various venues located in the city.

In 2004 Weyburn was chosen to host the Saskatchewan Summer Games. Coming up in 2005 Weyburn will be host to the SJHL Royal Bank Cup and also the 2005 Saskatchewan Oil & Gas Show.
